This policy covers wattlora.com, which is operated by Wattlora in Ballina, New South Wales. Wattlora lists home-based part-time roles and passes applications to the businesses that offer them; the business, not Wattlora, is the employer. You can write to Wattlora at careers@wattlora.com. Wattlora follows the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles.
Wattlora receives two kinds. First, what you enter in the Wattlora application: your name, mobile number, email address, the role you chose and anything extra you add, with required fields clearly marked. Second, the WhatsApp message you send the Wattlora HR team, which shows your WhatsApp display name, your number and whatever you wrote. If you email Wattlora, we also receive your email address and message.
Like every website, wattlora.com receives basic technical data such as IP address, device and browser details, pages viewed, the page you came from and timestamps. These records are kept by Wattlora's hosting provider for security and reliability, and Wattlora does not match them to any application.
Required fields are needed so Wattlora can reach you and forward your application. Leaving an optional field blank has no effect on how Wattlora treats your application.
Please never send Wattlora passwords, one-time codes from text messages, bank or card numbers, your tax file number or photos of ID. Wattlora never needs or asks for these, and deletes any that arrive.
Wattlora uses it to reply to you, send role details, pass your application to the employer for the role you picked, answer your email or WhatsApp questions, keep records, deal with complaints or misuse and meet legal duties.
Wattlora does not sell, rent or trade personal information and does not use applications for marketing. Should another role seem a better fit, Wattlora will ask your permission before your details go anywhere for it.
Only the people at Wattlora who handle applications, plus the employer behind your chosen role. Wattlora names the employer and explains what will be shared before any introduction is made.
wattlora.com is hosted and protected by Cloudflare, which also forwards emails addressed to Wattlora. Wattlora loads its lettering from Google Fonts, which means your device contacts Google for those files. Messages with Wattlora HR travel through WhatsApp, a Meta service. Those companies act under their own privacy rules, not only under Wattlora's. Wattlora will list any new provider here, for example a form builder or ad tag, before switching it on.
Wattlora discloses information to authorities only when legally required, or when legally permitted and reasonably needed to look into misuse or protect the rights of a person.
After the form, you complete your application by sending Wattlora HR one WhatsApp message. The button opens WhatsApp with a message already written and addressed to the Wattlora HR number, which you will see at the top of the chat. The Wattlora message waits for you: read it, then press Send when you are ready. If you cannot use WhatsApp, email careers@wattlora.com and Wattlora will help another way.
Not for ads or analytics on the Wattlora site. The Wattlora hosting provider may set a strictly necessary security cookie to filter out bots. You can block or clear cookies in your browser and wattlora.com will still work.
At the date shown, wattlora.com runs no ad tags, remarketing lists or analytics. Before Wattlora adds any, this section will be updated to name the provider, describe what it receives and explain your options. Wattlora never puts names, phone numbers or email addresses into tracking data or URLs.
Some of Wattlora's providers, such as Cloudflare, Google and WhatsApp, process data outside Australia, including in the United States. Wattlora applies the Australian Privacy Principles to these disclosures, and you can ask careers@wattlora.com for more information.
Up to twelve months after our last real conversation about a role, after which Wattlora deletes it. Wattlora deletes sooner if you ask, and keeps it longer only when the law or an unresolved dispute requires. Wattlora's hosting logs are normally gone within 30 days.
Traffic to wattlora.com is encrypted with HTTPS and application details are limited to the Wattlora staff who process them. If a data breach is likely to result in serious harm, Wattlora will tell you as required by the Notifiable Data Breaches scheme.
Employers you were introduced to, and WhatsApp itself, may hold their own records outside Wattlora's control. Wattlora can point you to the right place to ask them.
Yes, it does at Wattlora. Email careers@wattlora.com to access, correct or delete your details, withdraw your application or raise a concern. Wattlora may check your identity, aims to reply within 30 days and will explain if something cannot be done. An introduction Wattlora has already made stays made, even if you withdraw.
Let Wattlora know and your record will be updated.
No, not at Wattlora. A person at Wattlora reads every application, and the employer decides who is hired.
wattlora.com is for adults looking for work. If Wattlora finds a child's information, it is deleted.
Email careers@wattlora.com and describe what happened. Wattlora will investigate and reply in writing. If you are unhappy with the outcome, reply and someone at Wattlora who was not involved will review it from the start.
Knowing the role lets Wattlora send you the right training link and pass your application to the correct employer. If you are unsure, you can say so in your WhatsApp message and Wattlora HR will explain the options before anything is shared. You can change your choice at any time before an introduction is made, simply by messaging HR or emailing careers@wattlora.com.
Wattlora keeps the chat so HR can see what was already discussed and avoid asking you twice. Only the Wattlora staff who handle applications read those messages. You can ask Wattlora to delete the conversation from its side at any time, although your own copy and WhatsApp's records are managed by you and by WhatsApp. Wattlora never forwards your chat to marketing companies.
Yes, it does at Wattlora. You can stop your application with Wattlora whenever you like by messaging HR or emailing careers@wattlora.com. Wattlora will stop contacting you about roles, will not introduce you to any further employers and will delete your details in line with the retention section, unless the law requires Wattlora to keep a record for longer.
Wattlora relies on the details you give, so please check them before you submit. If HR notices something that looks wrong, such as a mistyped number, Wattlora will ask you to confirm it on WhatsApp rather than guess. You can correct your details at any time by messaging HR or writing to careers@wattlora.com.
Wattlora may revise this policy and will show the new date above. Where required by law, Wattlora will notify you before a change affects information it already has.
